This project aims to restore functional hand control for people with paralysis using electrocorticography (ECoG)-based brain‑computer interfaces. Its first goal is to develop a real‑time decoding algorithm that interprets intentional single‑finger and coordinated finger movements to control a hand exoskeleton. The second goal is to create a closed‑loop training strategy that helps patients progressively learn finger control, starting with a virtual hand avatar and later transitioning to an exoskeleton that provides richer sensory feedback.
